Many Orthodox Russians consider any water obtained on Epiphany to be holy
Don’t climb in & drink the holy water!
Ok, so it’s a pretty well-known fact that most tap water in Russia is undrinkable, right? Well, apparently hundreds of them are under the impression that once water is blessed, it’s somehow purified. Sorry to tell ya, folks – you still need to boil it.
